Empuriabrava is in an ideal location on the Costa Brava just north of Barcelona, Fly with Ryanair to Girona for the quickest transfer. Girona Airport 75 euros each way Barcelona Airport 200 euros each way Perpignon Airport 95 euros each way By Road: Motorway links from most French channel ports, the best route via St Malo, Le Havre or Caen, approx 650 miles a comfortable drive in about 10 hours. Dover-Calais is by far the quickest route overall if you have more than one driver (if you take the ferry time into account). Travel via the motorway system round the outskirts of Paris for the quickest route. All journeys through France are almost all motorway and incur tolls. By Rail: Figueres is the nearest railway station, approx 15 km from Empuriabrava. Express rail journey from Barcelona takes approx 1 hour 40 minutes. Fast and frequent buses operate between the airport and Barcelona Sants mainline railway station. Taxi from Figueres approximately 30 euros each way.
